Those whose family income will be more than Rs 8 lakh in the financial year 2023-24 will not be able to apply for this scheme. Apart from this, if any member of the family does a permanent government job then he will also not be eligible for this scheme. If someone graduates from big and professional institutions like IIT or IIM, then he will not be able to apply. Also, youth who have received skill training under any central state government scheme cannot benefit from this scheme.

Internship will start from 2nd December
After the applications are accepted till 25th October, the list of selected persons will be prepared between 27th October to 7th November. Offer letters will be sent to the selected youth from 25th November while the internship of the youth will start from 2nd December.
Selection will be like this
The government will use new technology to select youth for internship. Under this, the government will match applications and vacancies through AI based software. At least 2 names from the number of internship offices will be matched with the biodata of the candidates and sent to the companies. After this they will select the candidates and offer internship as per their rules.
You will get 5 thousand rupees every month
The youth doing internship will get Rs 5000 every month, out of which Rs 4500 will be given by the Central Government while Rs 500 per month will be given by the companies from CSR fund. Apart from this, a lump sum amount of Rs 6000 will also be given. Individual insurance coverage will be provided under the central government insurance schemes Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. For this, the central government will deposit the premium amount.
